One filter. Five subcultures.

The "slowed + reverb" remix isn't one genre — it's a stack of internet music movements that all reused the same trick. Phonk started on SoundCloud in the mid-2010s. Lo-fi hijacked it for YouTube study streams. Daycore and Nightcore traded speed for vibe on TikTok. Trap producers turned it into a tone choice. Pick a preset to land in the right pocket, or tune it yourself.

Phonk

Slowed Memphis rap with cowbells, from SoundCloud 2010s.

Lo-fi

Mellow chillhop, popularized by YouTube study streams.

Daycore

Pitched-down pop covers — TikTok's dreamier cousin.

Nightcore

Sped-up anime-EDM with chipmunk vocals — 2002 to today.

How Slowed & Reverb works

  1. 1. Drop audio

MP3, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, OGG, or M4A. Decoded locally in your browser — never uploaded.

  2. 2. Pick preset or tune sliders

Five subculture presets (Phonk, Lo-fi, Daycore, Nightcore, Trap) or three sliders for speed, reverb wet, and tone.

  3. 3. Export WAV

Render via OfflineAudioContext at the same sample rate. Download as 16-bit PCM WAV — universally compatible.

FAQ

Is the audio uploaded to your server?

No. All processing runs in your browser using the Web Audio API. Your audio never leaves your device.

What's the difference between Phonk, Daycore, and Nightcore?

Phonk and Daycore slow songs down (Phonk is heavier, often with bass distortion; Daycore is chiller). Nightcore SPEEDS them up with a higher pitch. Lo-fi is moderate slow-down with warm tone. Trap is subtle, more about tone than tempo.

Can I run this on copyrighted songs?

AIFlowMusic does not enforce copyright at upload. You are responsible for what you process. For commercial use, only process songs you own or have licensed.

Why does the output sound different from the preview?

Browser playback uses the live processing chain. The exported WAV is rendered via OfflineAudioContext at the same sample rate, so output should match the preview exactly — if you hear a difference, try clearing the cache and re-running.

What audio formats does it support?

Input: MP3, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, OGG, M4A. Output: WAV at 44.1 kHz / 16-bit (universally compatible).

What's the file size limit?

Free tier suggests under 25 MB (about 25 minutes of MP3). Larger files may cause memory issues in the browser. For longer files, the Creator and Producer plans will offer server-side rendering when those tiers ship.
