Most audio converters change containers: the same recording comes out as a different file type. Converting audio to sheet music is a different animal — the recording has to be understood, not repackaged. A neural transcription model estimates every note in the performance, and a notation engine then engraves those notes as readable music.
That is why the output list looks unusual for a converter. You do not get an audio file back; you get notation artifacts: the score itself rendered in the browser, a print-ready copy for PDF, MusicXML — the interchange format every serious notation app reads — and standard MIDI carrying the raw performance.
And it is why conversion quality depends on the recording rather than the format: a clean solo-instrument take converts into a score that is mostly right; a dense band mix converts into a busy draft. The converter is deterministic about formats and honest about music.
MP3, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, OGG and M4A are all decoded before analysis — the model sees the waveform, never the container.

Chords and simultaneous voices convert as simultaneous notes. Melody-only converters flatten music; this one does not.

Lossless formats — WAV, FLAC, AIFF — by a small margin: lossy encoders discard quiet content that is masked by louder content, which is exactly where inner voices live. A 320 kbps MP3 is close behind; low-bitrate files lose noticeably more.
